Waterfalls Ouzoud

Ouzoud waterfalls (cascades of Olives in Berber) are waterfalls of about 110 m high, on three levels, on the river ouzoud, at 1060 m altitude in the Middle Atlas in Morocco. This large site is an important Moroccan tourist 120km Beni Mellal and 150 miles northeast of Marrakech.


These waterfalls, considered among the highest and most beautiful in Morocco, often dominated by a rainbow sky, are in a rural green valley of red sandstone, planted with olive, almond and fig trees and other carob, or a dozen small traditional oil mill are still in business ...


The tourist site preserved, quiet and natural, entirely pedestrian, offers many campsites based huts / rudimentary huts of bamboo and reed, swimming areas, small terrace restaurants Moroccan cooking, Moroccan craft shops, along a footpath leading down to the foot of the waterfall. The site is run by a few among other groups of macaques Berber freedom ...
